When we first saw the BulletBobber we were impressed. Not very often do you see something that you know can change the way you fish. The BulletBobber can cover more water from the bank or from the boat.

Here is more Bullet Bobber info.

The BulletBobber is NOT just another bobber, it is a castable mini planer board with on-demand direction control. And the easiest way to describe what they do is to say that they “SKI” and flip direction and color with a flick of the wrist!

BulletBobers were the first fishing float to minimize or eliminate the need to recast and the DualFin is the second with added “in-line” features for trolling.

BulletBobbers and DualFins make fishing more FUN-ctional and PRO-ductive!

There have been many fishing lure, fishing float or bobber and planer board inventions but none provided directional control. Fly rods are good for hitting a spot repeatedly but you can only reach so far and the presentation is by drifting or pulling thru a spot in one direction. Centerpin fishing is also good for river fishing but if you let out 100 yards of line you have to real it in and they only offer limited control of where your bait goes. You have more control where your bait goes if you are boat fishing but still you are casting and reeling on straight line or jigging up and down on a straight path.

There are so many styles of bank fishing and even more styles for fishing boats. Often we start with the smallest of water craft and work our way up from belly boat fishing, kayak fishing, canoe fishing, john boat fishing, bass boat fishing, and on up to offshore sportfishing boats. With any size boat you can take advantage of trolling techniques that get your bait or lure down using fishing weights or down riggers dipsy divers, jet divers or spread them out using out riggers, in-line planer boards or big planer boards that run off a mast.

swim-the-bullet-bobber

The BulletBobber and DualFin gives you a new technique and the fish a new presentation that can be used by all fishermen from shore or any boat. And it doesn’t matter if you are Crappie fishing, Walleye fishing, Trout fishing, Coho Salmon fishing, King Salmon fishing, Steelhead fishing, Bass fishing, Muskie fishing, Pike fishing, Catfish fishing, Carp fishing, fishing for Blues or Reds, Mackerel fishing, fishing for Barracuda, Tuna fishing having your lure or bait move sideways and flip direction with a flick of the wrist can catch more fish when saltwater fishing or freshwater fishing.

The Point is: BulletBobber techniques TRUMP all other fishing methods and it doesn’t matter what kind of rod you use. Even if you use a hand line (no rod or reel) you can take advantage of the directional control and reach places that no one else can reach and keep your lure active in the water longer!

Even More!

Not only do Drop Shot Denny’s Widow Maker tubes have longer skirts, they’re also garlic scented with salt and come ten in a bag for the price that some folks charge for 6 or 8 tubes.

Colors

Widow Maker tubes also come in colors that you won’t find anywhere else. Colors like “Smallie Smasher” & “First Place” say it all. Believe me, it’s more than just a name.

We are pleased to announce that our Pro Staff member: Lee Hillman has qualified for the Bassmaster Weekend Series Southern Regional Championship. This is one step closer to qualifying for the Bassmaster Classic in February of 2011. Lee will be competing against some of the best fishermen from across Alabama, Louisiana, Florida and Georgia. The tournament changed venues from the Tensaw Delta in Mobile, Ala., to Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Ga. due to the possible problems with the oil disaster in the gulf.

Here are more details from the American Bass Anglers Press Release:

The event will be held Oct. 15-16 out of the Earle May Boat Basin Park in Bainbridge. The top anglers in the BWS Southern Regional Division will launch at safe light each competition day. Open to the public, the weigh-in will be held at 3 p.m. at the park each day. Angler registration will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 14 on the main stage area of Earle May Boat Basin Park.

“The City of Bainbridge is well prepared for this event,” said Chris Hobby, Bainbridge city manager. “As part of Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue’s ‘Go Fish Georgia’ initiative, the city is the recipient of mega-ramps being built at the Earle May Boat Basin, which includes three new multi-lane boat ramps. The current project schedule calls for the ramps to be ready for use by Oct. 1, just in time to host the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series Regional Championship.”

Anglers can fish any waters in the 37,500-acre Lake Seminole, which straddles the Georgia-Florida line. The Chattahoochee River forms part of the Georgia-Alabama line and feeds into Lake Seminole from the northwest. The Flint River runs up through Georgia to the northeast. Several major creeks also enter the fertile system.

The lake can produce double-digit largemouth bass. Standing timber dominates about one-third of the lake. Lily pads, grass beds, humps, natural springs, hard-bottom flats and deep channels provide more places for bass to hunt.

Location: Earle May Boat Basin, 801 W. Shotwell St, Bainbridge, GA 39819

Here is and interesting read about fish attractants from Mike’s Original Recipe inventor Mike Clemente

The Truth About Attractants and Mike’s Original Recipe.

Did you know that some attractants do actually work some turn fish off and others just mask the human scent.? Bass can sense 1-200th of a drop of a substance in about 100 gallons ofwater. Wow, what an acute sense of taste!

If they like it a lot they will suck it in to taste it if they do not they will spit it out before you have a chance to set the hook.

It has been proven that Bass do like certain flavors and oddly enough some are human flavors. Spices such as Garlic and flavors such as strawberry, Blueberry and Licorice have been used since the 1930s. and beyond to catch Bass and other game fish successfully.

In research that Mike’s Original Recipe has done in the last 25 years we have found that BASS like the Natural Licorice and now the Natural Garlic over stronger smelling overpowering stinky scents and imitation scents. We learned that those scents actually sometimes have the negative effect on the fish..

Why a negative effect ?

Pain is associated with some of those scents and if a Bass has been hooked before and released. You may catch them on the reaction bite however that strong smell is embedded in their pea size brain and they learn to avoid those smells completely and because of their incredible sense of smell your bait may never get near that fish again. With Mike’s Original Recipe and our light smelling scents the fish has a chance to suck in every time to continue to taste it more and more giving the angler more and more time to set that hook.

What is a the positive effect of the scent .

A Bass is just like any other creature take a horse for instance they like apples, sugar etc.. Animals at the zoo like peanuts,, This is where the salt comes into play.. Salt, sugar and other natural attractant smells are what separates Mike’s Original Recipe from the competition plus with the proprietary blend of oils we use it adds the lubrication quality to the scent. It repels grass and allows your buzz baits and spinner baits and frogs to come through the water with less resistance.

We have actual testimonials from anglers that attest to the fact that the bass will hold on to Mike’s Original Recipe on a bait longer and seem to be hooked deeper and carry the bait in their mouth giving the angler a longer time to set the hook..

Tips

If you are a smoker that also has a negative effect on your baits that you touch. Remember to always wash your hand and never get gas before going fishing.. Gas up the night before.

Apply attractant to the bait bags and use a dipper of some sort during the course of the day to add to the lubrication and the oil trail of Mike’s Original Recipe.

More tips: If you use a plastic bait impregnated with scent in the bait remember when you touch it now the human scent is all over the plastic bait on the outside.. With the oil based scents we make and if you soak your baits you fingers only touch the lubricated bait and never actually touch the plastic on the bait when you are putting it on your hook and also you can add attractant during the day as you fish.

Mike Clemente

That’s great information from Mike. Give his great products a try in 3 different sizes: 2 oz., 8 oz. & 1 gallon. Mike’s Original Recipe has had limited availability until now. Now everyone regardless of location or who you know can get a bottle. Try Mike’s Original Recipe Today!

There are many testimonial on the effectiveness of Juiced Up; one that particularly caught our eye was when 2 fishermen when head to head putting Juiced Up impregnated Attack Pak baits against Berkley Gulp™.

Here is the story:

Juiced Up impregnated Attack Pak vs. Berkley
3/12/10
I just recently started using Juiced Up impregnated Attack Pak baits. After several trips with great success, I figured it was time to really see what Juiced Up impregnated Attack Pak was made of. A good buddy of mine (I won’t mention his name to avoid embarrassing him, LOL!) is a Pro Staffer for Berkley. He is a Berkley nut. If Berkley doesn’t make it, he won’t use it. Anyway, I told him about Attack Pak and my recent success while using your product, and he told me that I was “Full of It”. So after a long discussion, I came up with the idea of a head to head test. Attack Pak vs. Berkley. Of course he agreed, confident that he was going to put it on me. We met at a local lake the next morning. We launched my boat and both began to ready our gear for the day’s challenge. As I was strapping down my rods for the boat ride, my buddy asked me to fill the livewell with water. Puzzled, I looked at him and asked why. He then told me that he had to keep his Gulp lure from drying out. I just sat back down laughing thinking he was joking. Well, he wasn’t. I told him that I could leave my Attack Pak lures out on the deck all day with no ill effects. To prove it, I laid out a 4″ craw on my front deck. I also laid out one of my buddy’s Gulp lures (on a towel to avoid the mess, of course) right beside it. We ran down the lake a few miles until we came to my favorite flippin stretch. This stretch of bank is loaded up with Cypress Trees, Button Wood Bushes, and all sorts of other nasty cover. It didn’t take long. I boated a nice largemouth on the 4″ Hot Pumpkin Craw. Then another. Then another. Then another. After landing 5 straight, my buddy finally gets a bite. This goes on all day. My catch ratio over his evened out to roughly 5:1. I even let him run the trolling motor while I fished behind him from the back deck! Why the huge difference in catch ratio you ask? The winter here in Louisiana has been unusually brutal this year. The water on our lakes is high, cold, and muddy. Not a good combination. The bite is extremely slow and subtle. The bass were hitting our baits on the fall. The reason I had what seemed like so many more bites than my buddy is because they were holding on to the Attack Pak baits longer! By the time my buddy would feel the bite, the bass would spit the Gulp and PowerBait. Oh yeah, and as for the baits laying out on the deck all day, my Attack Back Craw was just as soft and pliable as it was before I took it from the package. As for the Gulp, well, it looked just like a piece of beef jerkey! My buddy said that if you put it back in water or it’s Gulp juice, it will retain it’s shape after a while. As an avid tournament angler, I don’t have time to wait for a bait to regain it’s shape!!! Needless to say, we rib him about the challenge at every club meeting. Thanks Ralph and Brad for teaming up to make such a great product!!!
Sincerely,
Chris Mitchum
